04Commission the work
Bring the disagreement.
Thirty minutes, a real problem, and an immediate opinion. No proposal deck, no discovery phase you pay for, and no second call before anyone says anything useful.
Two routes
Book a time, or write
The booking widget is run by cal.com, which is a third party and which some corporate networks block. If it does not load, or you would rather not hand over a calendar before a first conversation, the address below starts the same conversation.
What cal.com collectsThe thirty minutes
What actually happens
- 01
Before
Send the term two systems report differently, or the question a regulator asked. One paragraph is enough. Reading it beforehand is what makes the thirty minutes worth having.
- 02
During
You describe the problem and get an opinion in the call, including the opinion that this is not work Koinon should do. Nothing is presented. There is no deck.
- 03
After
A short written note of what was said and what it would take, sent afterward whether or not the conversation goes anywhere. It is yours either way.
Who this suits
The problems this practice is built for
- Two systems report the same term differently, and a deadline has made it matter.
- A governance programme has stalled because nobody can agree what the terms mean.
- A migration has exposed how many readings of one definition are already in production.
- A regulator, an auditor, or a board has asked a question the business cannot answer from its own records.
Who it does not
Work Koinon turns down
- Staff augmentation. Koinon sells senior judgement, not seats, and a body on a roster is a different purchase.
- A governance platform selection. Buying the tool before agreeing the definitions is the sequence that produced the problem.
- A programme that needs a large team quickly. There are no juniors to add, which is the point, and it makes some shapes of work impossible.
04Commission the work
Thirty minutes is the whole commitment.
No proposal deck, no sales pitch, no wasted time. Bring the problem and you will get an opinion in the call.
